Catches

Verified photo catches, logged from the boat

No paper weigh slips to chase. Each catch arrives with its photo, species, measurement and time, and the weighmaster checks it before it counts.

A secret number on every catch

A 3-digit number for each day, revealed when fishing opens, shown on the mat in the photo.

Works with no signal

Catches wait on the phone and send when the boat is back in range.

Weighmaster review

Every catch is pending until it is verified. Corrections fix every prize the fish touches.

Brag photos

A brag shot taken with the catch, shown with its placing at prizegiving.

FAQ

Questions clubs ask

How are catches verified?

Each competition day has a 3-digit secret number, revealed to anglers when fishing opens. The angler photographs the fish on the mat with the number showing, and the weighmaster checks it. A catch stays pending until it is verified, and only verified catches count towards prizes.

Can anglers log a catch with no phone signal?

Yes. A catch logged out on the water is kept on the phone and sends itself when the boat is back in range, with its photo and the time it was caught.

What competition formats does it handle?

One-day, weekend, all-month and season-long club comps, club v club events, and multi-day game fishing tournaments. Scoring can be by weight or length, with line class points, tag and release, divisions, juniors, boat combined, trifecta and spot prizes.

How are ties broken?

When two fish are equal, the one entered first places higher, and the results show the entry time so everyone can see why.

Can juniors win an Open placing?

Yes, if the club chooses. Juniors can take an Open placing, and a fish only ever holds one placing: when it places in Open, the next fish in its division moves up.

Can two clubs run one competition together?

Yes. In a shared competition each partner club runs its own entries and takes its own entry money, either club's members can be invited aboard, and the clubs choose which fish each club sees on which day.

How much does Game Day Manager cost?

NZ$5 per member per year, with everything included: competitions, live prizegiving, membership, online payments, email, push notices and the members' app. The app is free for members. Some game fishing competitions carry an additional charge, and card fees apply when members pay by card through Stripe.
