Game Day Manager runs full game fishing tournaments: tag and release and weighed fish, line class points, boat points and buy-in jackpots, over as many days as the tournament runs. Whangamata Ocean Sports Club runs the Kilwell One Base Classic and Nauti Girls on it.
Set the points for each species once, and every catch is scored the same way, by every boat, on every day.
Boats choose their buy-ins when they enter. The pool and its 50/30/15/5 split are calculated from the verified catches, so a corrected fish corrects the payout.
The reel screams and nobody argues over whose turn it is. Pick who's fishing, shuffle the order, set the time each, and the app keeps the rotation. Tap it when you're hooked up and the whole screen shows who's on the rod.
Yes. Boats can buy in to optional jackpots when they enter, and the pool is split 50/30/15/5 across the placings, worked out from the verified catches.
A turn-taking rotation for the boat, in the free app. Pick who's fishing, shuffle the order and set a time each (15, 20, 30 minutes, an hour or your own). When a fish is hooked, tap Who's in the chair and the whole screen shows who plays it, with the time left and who's next. Every phone aboard shows the same name, even with no signal, and the app alerts the next angler when their turn starts. It works on any trip, with or without a competition.
One-day, weekend, all-month and season-long club comps, club v club events, and multi-day game fishing tournaments. Scoring can be by weight or length, with line class points, tag and release, divisions, juniors, boat combined, trifecta and spot prizes.
Each competition day has a 3-digit secret number, revealed to anglers when fishing opens. The angler photographs the fish on the mat with the number showing, and the weighmaster checks it. A catch stays pending until it is verified, and only verified catches count towards prizes.
The MC runs it from a phone. Each placing is revealed from 10th to 1st, category by category, and appears on the big screen, the website and every member's phone at the same moment. Members get a push notice when it starts.
NZ$5 per member per year, with everything included: competitions, live prizegiving, membership, online payments, email, push notices and the members' app. The app is free for members. Some game fishing competitions carry an additional charge, and card fees apply when members pay by card through Stripe.
