Live prizegiving

A live prizegiving on every phone in the room and at home

Game Day Manager's live prizegiving reveals each placing from 10th to 1st on the big screen, the club website and every member's phone at the same moment. The MC runs it from a phone, with club v club showdowns, brag photo draws and a winner screen.

FAQ

Questions clubs ask

How does the live prizegiving work?

The MC runs it from a phone. Each placing is revealed from 10th to 1st, category by category, and appears on the big screen, the website and every member's phone at the same moment. Members get a push notice when it starts.

Can we practise the prizegiving first?

Yes. The prizegiving can be rehearsed privately, so the MC sees every reveal before the night and nothing shows to the public until it is run for real.

How does prizegiving check-in work?

Print the venue QR code as an A4 poster. Members scan it to check themselves in, and the club can make check-in decide who counts at the prizegiving. The check-in board shows who is missing that would place, and check-in closes when the prizegiving starts.

Can two clubs run one competition together?

Yes. In a shared competition each partner club runs its own entries and takes its own entry money, either club's members can be invited aboard, and the clubs choose which fish each club sees on which day.

How much does Game Day Manager cost?

NZ$5 per member per year, with everything included: competitions, live prizegiving, membership, online payments, email, push notices and the members' app. The app is free for members. Some game fishing competitions carry an additional charge, and card fees apply when members pay by card through Stripe.
